Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cream together butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes. Add eggs and ground cardamom, mixing until combined. Gradually add flour until just combined.
  2. Wrap the dough tightly in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out the chilled dough to about ¼ inch thick and cut into desired shapes.
  4. Bake cookies for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden around the edges. Cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
  5. Make the glaze by whisking powdered sugar, orange zest, and milk until smooth and drizzly.
  6. Once cooled, dip or drizzle the glaze over the cookies and allow to set.
