- Cream together butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes. Add eggs and ground cardamom, mixing until combined. Gradually add flour until just combined.
- Wrap the dough tightly in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out the chilled dough to about ¼ inch thick and cut into desired shapes.
- Bake cookies for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden around the edges. Cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
- Make the glaze by whisking powdered sugar, orange zest, and milk until smooth and drizzly.
