- Start by pitting and chopping 4 Medjool dates into smaller pieces. Place them in a blender with 1/4 cup of your milk of choice. Blend until you achieve a smooth, creamy paste, which should take about 1-2 minutes.
- Grab two jars to layer your ingredients for the Date Overnight Oats. Evenly distribute 1 cup of rolled oats, 2 tablespoons of chia seeds, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, and 1/8 teaspoon of kosher salt into the jars.
- Pour the blended date paste from Step 1 equally between the jars. Next, add the remaining 1.75 cups of milk. If you prefer a sweeter taste, add 2 tablespoons of honey at this point.
- Seal the jars tightly with lids and shake them vigorously for 30-45 seconds. Refrigerate the jars overnight or for at least 4-6 hours.
- In the morning, take the jars out of the fridge and give them a good stir. Add a splash of milk if the mixture appears too thick, and top with sliced bananas, nuts, or a drizzle of honey.
