Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C), and place a pizza stone inside if available for a crispy crust.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thick, and transfer it to a floured baking sheet or pizza stone.
- In a medium saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for an additional minute.
- Spread the garlic sauce over the prepared pizza dough, leaving a ½-inch border.
- Dollop ricotta cheese on the sauce, then layer shredded mozzarella on top, followed by grated parmesan.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
- Allow to cool for about 5 minutes, garnish with fresh basil leaves, slice, and serve warm.
