  • 2 cups Broccoli Fresh and chopped
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese Shredded
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs Whole wheat or gluten-free preferred
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 large Egg Or Flax Egg for vegan option
For Dipping
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt Dip
  • 1/2 cup Marinara Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Spicy Sriracha

Preparation Steps
  1. Wash and chop fresh broccoli into small florets and blanch them for 2 minutes. Drain and cool.
  2. In a large bowl, mix blanched broccoli, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and egg/flax egg until fully combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into small balls or patties, about the size of a golf ball.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes and lightly grease the basket.
  5. Place the poppers in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 10-12 minutes, checking halfway for doneness.
  6. Let the poppers cool for a few minutes before serving with your chosen dip.
