Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground pork, chopped napa cabbage, sliced green onions, minced ginger, mashed garlic, finely chopped mushrooms, and baking soda if desired. Add sesame oil, mirin, oyster sauce, and soy sauce. Mix well until fully incorporated.
- Preheat your steamer and prepare 4 ramekins. Add a spoonful of the pork filling mixture at the bottom of each ramekin.
- Layer the wonton wrappers over the pork filling in each ramekin, pressing them down. Continue layering until nearly full, leaving space for more wrappers and steaming water.
- Pour approximately ⅓ cup of water into each ramekin. Place two more wonton wrappers on top and seal tightly.
- Place the ramekins into the preheated steamer, ensuring they are upright. Steam for about 20 minutes until the filling is cooked and wrappers are tender.
- Remove the ramekins from the steamer using tongs. Garnish with chili oil and chopped green onions. Serve warm.

Notes
Dumpling lasagna is best enjoyed right away; if you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container and reheat gently.
