  • 1 package Pizza dough Use store-bought or homemade for convenience.
Filling
  • 1 cup Marinara sauce Any type works for dipping.
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese Can substitute with provolone.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Consider adding other cheeses for flavor.
Topping
  • 3 cloves Fresh garlic Mince finely for flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Melted butter Can swap with olive oil.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Fresh herbs can be used for authenticity.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley Optional, for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out your pizza dough onto a floured surface into a 12x16 inch rectangle.
  2. Spread marinara sauce evenly across the surface of the dough, leaving about half an inch around the edges.
  3. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the marinara sauce, then add half of the grated Parmesan cheese.
  4. Roll the dough tightly from one long edge, pinching and sealing the edges while doing so. Slice into 1-inch thick pieces.
  5. Grease a baking dish and arrange the sliced rolls snugly inside.
  6. In a bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and remaining Parmesan cheese. Brush the mixture over the rolls.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Let them cool for a few minutes, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm with extra marinara sauce.
