Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. Slice each King’s Hawaiian roll in half without cutting all the way through. Soak each roll in the custard for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter, swirling to coat the bottom evenly.
  4. Place the soaked rolls cut side down onto the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
