- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk or half-and-half, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Slice each King’s Hawaiian roll in half without cutting all the way through. Soak each roll in the custard for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter, swirling to coat the bottom evenly.
- Place the soaked rolls cut side down onto the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the rolls from the skillet and serve immediately with toppings of your choice.
