Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook Bacon: Heat a skillet over medium heat, add bacon, and cook until crispy for about 8-10 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towel, leaving 1 tablespoon of grease in the skillet.
  2. Brown Beef: Sauté onion for 3-4 minutes, then add ground beef and garlic. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat and season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Reduce heat to low, stir in cream cheese into the beef mixture, and fold in crumbled bacon. Spread this mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  4. Prepare Egg Mixture: In a bowl, whisk eggs and heavy cream. Stir in half of the cheddar cheese. Set aside.
  5. Assemble Casserole: Pour egg mixture over the beef layer, then top with remaining cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is golden brown.
  7. Cool & Serve: Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley or pickles.
