  • 1/2 cup Dry White Wine Can be substituted with chicken broth
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter, divided Can substitute with olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice, from one lemon Fresh juice is preferred
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced Fresh is best
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt Adjust according to personal taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
For the Topping
  • 3/4 cup Panko Breadcrumbs Regular breadcrumbs can be used
  • 3/4 cup Parmesan Cheese, finely grated Pecorino Romano can serve as an alternative
  • Fresh Parsley, finely chopped For garnish

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a 9x13 baking dish, combine 2 tablespoons of melted unsalted butter with dry white wine. Place this dish in the oven for about 10 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the remaining melted butter, minced garlic, fresh lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Toss the shrimp in this marinade.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, finely grated Parmesan cheese, and extra salt. Pour the remaining melted butter over and mix.
  5. After 10 minutes, layer the marinated shrimp in the baking dish and drizzle with remaining garlic-lemon butter. Sprinkle the breadcrumb topping evenly.
  6. Bake for approximately 12 minutes, until the shrimp are cooked. Broil for 1-2 minutes for extra crispiness.
  7. Remove from the oven, allow to rest for a few minutes, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
