Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine ground beef, grated onion, minced garlic, and chopped herbs in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper, mix well and form into elongated shapes.
- Slice the golden potatoes into wedges, toss in olive oil, salt, and pepper, and place on a baking tray.
- Place the kofta on top of the potatoes and bake for about 30 minutes until golden and juicy.
- Whisk tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, and water to your desired sauce consistency.
- Drizzle the tahini sauce over the kofta and potatoes and bake for an additional 15–20 minutes.
- Garnish with herbs or lemon zest before serving. Enjoy hot with a refreshing cucumber yogurt salad.
