Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken wings dry using paper towels.
  2. Drizzle olive oil over the wings, ensuring each piece is coated. Toss to distribute evenly.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, thyme, oregano, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
  4. Sprinkle the dry rub over the chicken wings and rub it thoroughly into the wings.
  5. Optional: Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours to enhance flavor.
  6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the seasoned wings on the rack.
  7. Bake the wings for about 30 minutes, then flip them and bake for an additional 20-30 minutes until crispy.
  8. In a saucepan, melt butter and add apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, honey, and optional hot sauce. Simmer until it thickens.
  9. Taste and adjust the sauce, if necessary. Then toss the wings in the sauce to coat evenly.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with your favorite dips.
