Cooking Instructions
- Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the fresh egg noodles and cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until they are tender yet firm to the bite. Once cooked, drain the noodles in a colander.
- While the noodles cook, preheat a wok over high heat until it begins to smoke slightly. Pour in about 2 tablespoons of peanut oil and allow the oil to heat for about 30 seconds.
- Once the wok is hot, add the drained egg noodles directly into the pan, followed by the oyster sauce, soy sauce, and dark soy sauce. Toss everything for about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Taste your Plain Lo Mein Noodles and adjust the seasonings. Toss everything again in the wok for another minute to blend the flavors.
- Remove the wok from heat and transfer the noodles to serving plates. Serve hot, optionally garnished with chopped green onions or sesame seeds.
