Method
 

Preparation
  1. Zest the lemon into a large mixing bowl, then cut it in half and squeeze out the juice, discarding any seeds. Add the maple syrup and poppy seeds to the bowl, and whisk everything together until well combined.
  2. Rinse the fresh strawberries gently under cool water, remove the green tops, and quarter each berry. Add the quartered strawberries to the bowl with the dressing.
  3. Peel the kiwi and slice it into half moons, placing the kiwi pieces into the bowl with the other fruits.
  4. Cut the fresh pineapple in half lengthwise, remove the core, and slice the pineapple into manageable cubes. Add the cubed pineapple to the mixing bowl.
  5. Gently toss the fruit mixture until all pieces are evenly coated with the poppy seed dressing.
  6. Serve immediately after tossing or chill for up to an hour before serving.
