Step-by-Step Instructions for 5-Minute Lemon Parmesan Lettuce Salad
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together ¼ cup of extra virgin olive oil, the juice and zest of one fresh lemon, 1-2 teaspoons of honey, and a pinch of salt and freshly cracked pepper. Set the dressing aside.
  2. Chop one head of romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl. Thinly slice about ¼ of a red onion and add it to the bowl.
  3. Sprinkle freshly grated parmesan cheese and a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes over the salad. Gently toss the ingredients together.
  4. Drizzle the prepared lemon dressing evenly over the salad mixture.
  5. Gently toss the salad again to ensure an even distribution of dressing across all the ingredients. Serve immediately.
